Istanbul's Atatürk International Airport (IST) at Yesilyurt, 23 km (14 miles) west of Sultanahmet Square, is the busiest of Turkey's major airports.                                 

Domestic Terminal

Construction of the Terminal started in 1975 The terminal began to serve as an International Terminal on November 7, 1983.  The Terminal has been serving as a Domestic Terminal since September 9, 2000.

Domestic Terminal is connected with the International Terminal, multi-storey car park and metro station by the tunnels including underground moving walks. Both terminals are connected to each other on Domestic Terminal Departures Floor and International Terminal Arrival Floor via transportation corridors.

A bank, ATM, rent a car, hotel reservation, hairdresser, baggage custody, restaurant and DHMI Health Unit are included on the Arrival floor. Public bus, Taxi and Havaş Bus Stops are also available in front of the arrival floor.

Restaurants, souvenirs, post office and Health Unit (Port Clinic) are located  on the departure floor.
 

International Terminal

New International Terminal constructed in Built-Operate-Transfer model by TAV Consortium was opened in January 10, 2000. 267,500 square meters terminal building consisting of 23 stands with boarding bridges has a capacity of 20 million passengers per year.

A transportation tunnel and a connecting bridge provides the passengers rapid access to the Domestic Terminal.

Baggage are directed to the aircraft automatically by a Baggage Reconciliation System. This system prevents the unreconciled bags of the passengers unable to catch the aircraft from being loaded to aircraft,Baggages of transit flights are directed regarding to the final departure point by optic readers.

 Sabiha Gokcen Airport

Development of Anatolia shall begin from the Anatolian Coast of Istanbul.
Sabiha Gökçen Airport is getting ready to open new horizons for Turkey, just like the woman combat pilot of Turkey that it is named after. The Airport which is the first step towards the "Advanced Technology Industry Park" project, which shall serve the country in numerous fields such as transportation, foreign trade, aviation and technology, shall act as a leader for conversion of the region into a technology base in the future. TELEPHONE
10 pay phones, of which 8 are of magnetic card type and 2 are of Credit Card and Smart Card, are available at the International Flights and Domestic Flights Terminals

LUGGAGE TROLLEYS
Luggage trolleys are available at the A and B gates and Arrival hall of the International Flights Terminal and in front of the Domestic Flights Terminal. Luggage trolleys are provided free of charge.

PTT ( Post Office )
PTT office located at the arrival hall of the International Flights Terminal serves between 8:30-16:30 hours.

WHEELCHAIR SERVICE
Wheelchair service is provided free of charge at our Domestic and International Flights terminals for handicapped and ill passengers.

BABY CARE ROOM
A baby room is provided for baby care in the departure lounge, Hall A of the International Flights Terminal.

TOILETS FOR THE HANDICAPPED
A toilet is provided for the handicapped passengers in the departure lounge of Hall A and B of International Flights Terminal and departure lounge of Domestic Flights Terminal

FOOD-BEVERAGES AND SHOPPING AREAS

RESTAURANT/BAR/CAFE
Wings Café and Bar is located at the mezzanine lounge of International Flights terminal and two cafés are located in A and B halls of the ground floor.
East Port Cafe is at your service at the departure lounge of the Domestic Flights Terminal.

MINI MARKET
Newspapers, cigarettes, magazines, perfumes, personal care products and packed food products are available at the arrival lounge of the International Flights Terminal.

UNITEL TECHNOMARKET
A store of the Unitel firm selling cellular telephones and accessories, various electronic devices and equipment is located at the arrival lounge of the International Flights Terminal.

SHOPS
Tobacco Shop SKYMART is operated by Serhan Serdar Tektas; and Sinasi Ayhan Adi, located at the sectioned halls of the International Flights Terminal.

Turkish Delight Shop is operated by Zümrüt Kuyumculuk Elek. Paz. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. , located at the sectioned halls of the International Flights Terminal.

DUTY FREE SHOPS
Popular spirits, cigarettes, candies, perfume products of the world sold in the shops operated by the SETUR firm, located at the sectioned halls of the International Flights Terminal.

Türkiye Is Bankasi and Akbank branch located at the arrival lounge of the International Flights Terminal provides all kinds of banking services.
